Come and discover the museum in Châteauroux. It is housed in an 18th century town house which belonged to General Bertrand, a companion of Napoleon.
This museum will show you works from the Gallo-Roman period to the present with many of General Bertrand’s Napoleonic souvenirs and a very beautiful collection of Flemish and Dutch paintings from the 15th to the 18th century.
Closed in January and on Mondays.
Open from October to May: 2pm to 6pm
From June to August : 10am to 12am and 2pm to 6pm (10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm on saturdays and sundays)
September: 10am to 12am and 2pm to 6pm
Closed on public holidays except 14/07, 15/08 and 01/11.
Free admission.
