Built in the 13th century, it belonged in the 15th century to the family of Jacques Coeur who was the famous treasurer of King Charles VII. It has been restored throughout the centuries, but it was unfortunately practically destroyed in 1944 during an American air raid carried out by mistake
The ruins are now all that’s left to be seen.
