Sassierges Church
This Romanesque church dates from the 12th century and is listed as a historical monument.
Its bell tower is covered with chestnut shingles (or tiles), and its handsome ornate portal has four capitals like the statuary of Déols Abbey.
Inside the church, the vault seems to be collapsing. Indeed, the significant width of the vault was deliberately done by the architect to give more foundation to its construction.
