Hôtel Bertrand Museum - Châteauroux

Come and explore the municipal Châteauroux museum in an 18th century mansion which once belonged to General Bertrand, a friend to Napoleon I. The museum has permanent exhibitions such as the cabinet of curiosities and cabinet of Egyptology, Empire collections, Dutch and Flemish paintings and Gallo-Roman and Medieval pieces.
It also hosts temporary exhibitions.
 

Opening times

 
February-December: open Tuesday-Sunday

October-May: Tuesday-Sunday: 2pm-6pm
June-August: Tuesday-Friday: 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm – Saturday-Sunday: 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-6pm
September: Tuesday-Sunday: 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm

Closed in January and bank holidays (exc. July 14th, August 15th and November 1st)
