How can I get to the CNTS competition site?

Two solutions are available to you depending on your means of transport:

  • If you come to Châteauroux by train : a direct shuttle by accessible bus will be set up between the multimodal hub located at Place Voltaire (100 m from the station) and the competition site.
  • If you come to Châteauroux by car : a visitor car park will be set up in the immediate vicinity of the competition site, with a connection then provided by Paris 2024 to access the interior of the site.

🚴🏻 A secure cycle link also exists between the town center of Châteauroux and the various access points to the competition site.

📰 If you are a journalist, dedicated access will await you directly at the main entrance to the competition site.

 

What are the shuttle times to get to the CNTS?

The shuttle schedule allowing you to reach the competition site from the multimodal center located at Place Voltaire (100 m from the station) at Châteauroux will be communicated at a later date.

Will areas of the city be closed to traffic?

No area of Châteauroux will not be impacted by possible changes or traffic bans. Only the presence of the Celebration Tour for four dates, Place de la République, could lead to traffic changes if necessary.

However, there will be a specific path at the RD925 to access the competition site.

Will traffic be disrupted around the CNTS during the competition?

Traffic will be reorganized around the CNTS in order to prioritize athletes, spectators, journalists and officials associated with the competition.

Other users of the RD925 will have to follow a diversion circuit specially set up for this occasion. This will soon be accessible from the tourist office website.

Will there be self-service bicycles during the competition?

An electric bike rental service will be organized from the SNCF station.
