Henry Viguier, owner of the Bazar de l'Hôtel de Ville and his wife Renée have worked all their lives to restore the castle to its former glory. In particular, they provided it with exceptional, highly refined furniture and modernized the facilities by providing all the necessary comfort (electricity, heating and running water).

The passion ofHenry Viguier for horses is found in the stables, tack rooms and the room dedicated to horse-drawn carriages that can still be admired in the outbuildings of the castle.
